Fancy a play?
Once a fortnight we meet up with improvisers from all over the Derby and Nottingham area just to get together, play some scenes and have a laugh.
You can be as active as you want to be, either take part or simply sit back and watch.
Our next Ram Jam is Thursday February 5th at 7:30 pm
The Friends Meeting House
St Helens Street, Derby, DE1 3GY
(Right next to BBC Radio Derby)
Come along to Ram Jam - Derby's funnily vibrant improvised theatre group.
Improvised theatre is the art of creating short and long stories from scratch. No scripts. No sets. No costumes. Sometimes funny, sometimes sad and mostly somewhere between the two. Real relationships, real conversations, real people. Like real life and just as hilarious.
No experience of acting or writing needed. Come along and play like the five year old you're meant to be. Laugh with abandon and find your stories in our safe, joyful, supportive space.
You'll move through interactive warm up games before moving onto scene and even story creation in every session. And if you don't feel like performing, we need audience too. Possibly the biggest role of all!
Fortnightly on Thursdays 7.30 - 9.30 The Meeting House, St Helen's St, Derby, DE1 3GY.
£4.00 (to cover room hire and refreshments)
