Join us for a fun 6-week intro course on Improvised Comedy!
Starting on Saturday January 17th for 6 weeks (1 week break on 21st Feb), we will dive into the basics of two-person improvised scenes, saying "yes" to ideas and using stagecraft to create theatre from scratch. Bring your inner 5-year-old because we'll be doing a lot of playful activities.
We'll also touch on performance theory, from Stanislavsky to Strasberg, mixing method with madness. It's a fantastic chance to unleash your creative side, boost your confidence, and build teamwork skills through long-form improv - which is more about theatre than quick games or competitive improv seen on TV.
We wrap up with a comedy showcase on the final week in front of a paying audience to support a local charity.
